Movie will start at 1:30 and should finish by 3:00.

Come and help Dracula’s daughter celebrate her 118th birthday and you have a chance to win some prizes too!

DIY Thursdays

Tuesday crafts have joined forces with Thursday crafts.

We are launching a new Craft Time program that will be

every  week on Thursday after school from

3:30 to 4:15 when school is in session. 

Taxes! Taxes! Taxes!

Federal Tax Forms are slowly coming in. We have W-2’s, W-3’s and 1099’s. We have a few other forms, schedules and publications. The only 1040 we have right now is 1040EZ, but no instructions for it.

AARP will be here on March 20 to assist with completing your taxes. We are not signing up yet, but will in the next week or two.

Money raised will be used to support the 2013 Summer Reading Program.

Help us reach our recycling goal!

Help us reach our recycling goal of $134.  We are recycling empty inkjet  and toner cartridges, mp3 players, laptops, GPS systems and cell phones.

So far, we have recycled:

28.14 lbs. Plastic
1.43 lbs. Nylon
15.94 lbs. Steel
1.31 lbs. Aluminum
0.05 lbs. Copper

That is almost 50 lbs.

With your help we can reach our goal,

please bring in you empty ink and toner cartridges

and your electronics you no longer are using.

Vote 411

Vote 411, is a new tool the League of Women Voters provides that helps people register to vote, and offers information on voting requirements and state deadlines.

The Vote 411 tool allows users to build an online voter’s guide, view political races, compare candidate positions side-by-side and print out “ballots” that can be used to remind the public to vote on Election Day. The tool also provides visitors with helpful voting information, candidate statements and details on current issues.  Check out the website.  http://www.vote411.org/

It’s Time to Read Reading Program

Sign up for It’s Time to Read Reading Program for ages 10-Adult.

Read Fiction, Non Fiction, Magazines…Even Text Books and have a chance to win a prize.

Pick up your Reading Log at the library or click on this link It’s Time to Read Reading Program Log and make sure you turn in your completed reading logs by November 17.
